ubuntu - With VirtualBox how do I boot into a newly compiled kernel? -

i running ubuntu 14.04 kernel version 4.4.0-31 , compiled 4.4.31 kernel. when try boot new kernel, error message no init found:

but, old kernel still boots fine.
